The Brow Lift Procedure

Dr. Deuber begins brow lift surgery by making an incision behind the hairline so that the scars will not be visible. This incision is made from ear to ear. Through this incision, Dr. Deuber reshapes the tissue to reduce the prominence of horizontal wrinkles and furrows. Some of the underlying muscle tissue may be removed to create a smoother brow, but a brow lift performed by Dr. Deuber will not significantly affect the patient’s ability to make normal, natural facial expressions. In many cases, the eyebrows will be in a higher position on the patient’s forehead than they were before, creating attractive, angled brows.

The patient will look completely natural with his or her new brow, as Dr. Deuber is careful to avoid producing a surprised, stretched look. After the skin of the forehead has been surgically redraped, Dr. Deuber closes the incisions.

After Brow Lift Surgery

The results of brow lift surgery are more dramatic and longer-lasting than those produced by BOTOX® injections, but the patient’s face still appears natural.
